Our last week was filled with rain rain and more rain. We used our time to be cozy and creative as well as do lots of reading and music and movement. The week before last we made the most delicious bread any of us had ever tasted and butter made it extra yummy. We got a chance to send small pieces home to share with our families but I heard that some family members never saw or tasted the bread... humm.
This week we talked more about the letter B. B is for bread. We learned the sign for B as well as the sound then thought of words that start with a B sound. This coming week we will make a B collage.
We also lookes at different shapes of bread and made a shape collage. We took pictures of bread of different shapes and thought of other things that were the same shapes as our bread. We made a chart to document them.
We went to the Library for story time and found a yoga for kids DVD- perfect for the rainy days. Amilia is quite the yogi!!
Ryan brought the book- Brown Bear Brown Bear- The title starts with B! He read it out loud to Cecilia- so cute!
We also did Baby Bubble Baths- a letter B activity! Each child had their own baby, bath, soap, cup, and rag. The girls had a great time with this activity and I don't think I heard from them for an hour.
We played the Elefun game.
We made pumpkin Bread.
We painted with cup rims using shades of Blue paint.
More letter B this week as we make a Bakery in our playroom.
The letter C.
