Water, soap, and sponges




The two girls spent an hour squeezing soap and sponges into the water. The loved making bubbles and blowing them all around. Amanda and Izzy rubbed the soap and poured water all over themselves. (sensory, science, cause and effect, social development,fine motor,eye/hand/brain coordination, cognitive development)

We feather painted in relation to talking about Native Americans. We learned that NA's had to use the natural materials around them that were provided by the earth. They could not just go to the store and but paint brushes. We used feathers to brush, smack, and dot paint on to our paper . (physical development, social development,emotional development, cognitive development)

Soph and Christian work on patterns.Patterns are very important to brain development. You can find them in calander dates, texture, color, language and rhyme, as well as relating past experiences to present experiences.
